Drywall tape :)

I cant take full credit for the idea because I saw a girl do this before but I wanted to share it because I thought it was an awesome Idea !!!

(click photo for closer view of details)

Drywall tape !!! You know....the roll of stuff that drywall guys will put over seams and holes before drywall mud to fix your wall....its a roll of mesh type fabric that you can paint or ink to match your pages and the best part is that it is meant to stick to a wall forever so it already has glue on the back so you just unroll it and stick it on your pages ! I love the texture it makes and now that I have a roll of it I am sure to be figuring out new ways to use it.

REMEMBER TO LEAVE ME A COMMENT THIS WEEK TO BE ENTERED TO WIN THIS WEEKS BLOG CANDY :)

Oh my gosh what a great Idea. I have like 2 rolls of that stuff, from when I drywalled and taped and mudded my Therapy room in my old house. I miss my therapy room so much. Anyway I've got some. Yipee. I have another things to use for scrapbooking. Thanks Wendy!

That's a cool idea!! If you come up with fun ways to use it, share them - I have a whole box of magic mesh still left over, that I need to be using waaay more than I am :)

I know isn't that fun to use! It is so expansive in the scrapbook store for only 1 yard when you can buy a huge roll of it. Years ago, I found a big roll of yellow dry wall tape, I was so excited. I used a ton of it, gave some to friends & still have quite a bit left!

I am glad you put that on your page... I used it not long ago and took safety pins and hung tags with it... Glad you liked the idea...

That is a great idea. I've used drywall tape, too. You can also color it with permanent markers or Staz-on ink.

You ladies have to tell me what you buy when you go, so I can start a list of stuff I need, so I am not so Old School. I kind of have a list going already, but they are big ticket items. You know the Cricut and maybe the embosser thingy the little green one. Can't remember its name I always forget it. LOL. I am gonna check it out though for sure. Thanks. Also how do I see your older pages on here, is there an archives. I am gonna try to figure it out. LOL
